Painting of view from window, with European rooftops and swallows flying
Oh, to open my window to a European day
And look down at the cobbled streets where laughing children play.
To watch the new come swallows swiftly darting through the air
And listen to the music from the café in the square.
To look out at the river and watch the boats go by,
To see beyond, the mountains reaching up into the sky.
To close again the window, and smile back to the bed.
Think of all the good times been, and better times ahead.
